Congratulations on a Great Event!!!
Hello Traudl and Ulli:
Once again you both went beyond the call of duty, in Planning, Directing, Organizing and Executing another excellent event for 2005!
For the Winter Trails we had absolutely gorgeous weather, with beautiful blue Colorado skies, dry trails, scenic course, great friends and camaraderie and of course who can forget the always dependable Traudl who was always on time and ready for us at all the aid stations!
Ulli kept us entertained and motivated with all his great adventure stories and we were able to finish feeling great!!
I want to take this opportunity to thank both Traudl and Ulli, for all their hard work in bringing us this great event and look foreword to the next one!!
Keep up the great work, Traudl and Ulli!
Your friends Nico and Irmgard.

Once again, Ulli and Traudl, you out did yourself. This was a really great event. The support was the best and the course was very interesting. Thanks for allowing me to participate! I look forward to future events!
Thanks again to all the participates too. It was quite enjoyable walking with Chris on our "unofficial" first loop to make sure there was time to get in enough mileage. I certainly got enough miles for me that day. Congratulations to all the walkers!

Thanks for everything.
Hope to see you again soon,

Thanks again to Ulli and Traudl for another successful Ultra walk. We were blessed with great weather to explore all the trails and areas that Ulli planned for us. At every rest stop we were fed and supported by Traudl. It's fun to explore parts of the city that have paths most people don't know exist. Ulli's choices of trails were as refreshing as Traudl's choices of food. Ulli asks us what they could do to improve their events and the only thing we can think of is that he put on more of them. These events are a welcome addition to the ultra running and walking communities. I'm glad I have the opportunity to participate. I look forward to the next one. Thanks again for another job well done.

Ulli and Traudl,
Thank you so much for Winter Trails 50. It was a fabulous experience, especially for someone, like myself, trying to move up to ultras after a lot of years of marathons. I was absolutely humbled to spend the day in the company of such experienced ultra marathoners. While the training miles were great, the knowledge I gained from listening and learning from the other participants was invaluable. Traudl and her aide stops were the highlight of the day. It seemed like every time I started to struggle to maintain the pace, Traudl would show up with sandwiches, soup and a smile and encouraging word. 50 miles put me half way to your "Hall of Fame". I'll be back for the other 50. Thanks again for the time and effort you and Traudl put into your ultra walking events. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who wants to improve their walking skills or is just looking for an excuse to spend a day with a group of truly amazing people.

What a perfect day for a long walk in the park. Couldn't have asked for better weather, company, support or scenery. Another tremendous event. I appreciate both of your hard work in setting up these events and finding interesting trails and some how connecting them all in a way that makes sense and allows for food, fuel and rest. A special thank you to Traudl for her support, spending a long day driving the support vehicle and feeding the troops. Looking forward to next fall.

Hello Ulli and Traudl,
Several times on the course last week I said out loud: "I can't think of anywhere else in the whole world I'd rather be, or anything in the world that could be so much fun". We felt exhilarated by the pace, the picture-perfect weather, the mountains, the soaring eagles and the shimmering water of the reservoir. It was a revelation to some of us that the highland canal trail was quite scenic and such a good walking surface. Once again the chemistry of the group pushed all of us to make our best effort. The spacing of the aid stops seemed just right.
It was good to meet new folks with whom to share the day.
Thanks for your meticulous planning and effervescent enthusiasm.
