Thank you for all of the hard work you did to make our 50K/1K a memorable, enjoyable and stimulating event. I particularly liked swimming mid day; the opportunity to move different muscles and be suspended in soothing water was a great contrast to the chill air and hard concrete paths.
I would have liked a softer surface trail for part of the journey, the asphalt and concrete seemed to get harder as the day went on and our bodies' shock absorbing ability faded.
I appreciated the amazing refreshments and support that Traudl provided.
It was just great to spend time with new, interesting, enthusiastic athletes in a setting which allowed us to chat with one another.
Looking forward to our next big adventure,
Fran

Dear Ulli and Traudl,
Thank you for a lovely day of walking with a very interesting group of people.
Traudl, thank you for your fabulous refreshments and warm smile.
Ulli, thank you for your boundless energy and enthusiasm for walking. We need you at the hospital to encourage the patients that walking is fun and worth every step.
Constructive feedback, the course was great, the aid stations (Starbucks and Pizza) were tasty and my favorite part was the super slide!
I look forward to more walking adventures with you all.
Sincerely,
Kim Allen

Hi Ulli,
Here is a brief report for you.
Thanks again to Ulli and Traudl for another fun, successful Ultra group walk. The weather couldn't have been any nicer for the 6 of us walking on bike trails that looped us from the Apex Rec. Center to Starbucks and "Nik and Willies Pizza".
We
started at the Rec. Center after we had a pre-walk briefing over hot tea, juice
and bagel sandwiches. We kept up a brisk walking pace until our first break at
Starbucks. We looped our way back to the Rec. Center for a 1 km swim or
hopelessly dragging oneself through the water for those of us who can't swim. We
all excelled during our repeated laps down the water slides, then we soaked in
the hot tub for a few minutes. Traudl fed us again and we were back outside for
a loop for Pizza and later another loop for Starbucks. We kept up our predicted
pace and arrived back at the Rec. Center a little bit after dark. It was nice to
be back. Traudl fed us more food as we talked about the day. We were all given
custom made race momentos.
All day long we were well fed and taken care of. I always enjoy their events and
look forward to the next one in February.
Thanks again for giving me a chance to spend a day outside, walking with interesting people and all the food and coffee I can handle.
See
ya in February,
Debbie

Hi Ulli,
I must be getting used to all the concrete. Somehow it didn't seem like 50 km. that we went last weekend.
The pace was pretty casual and we all over-ate on the way.
If you want to try a long event and still gain weight, join Ulli on another of these. They're nice trips.
Thanks for another great day Ulli and Traudl.

Ulli and Traudl,
I wanted to wish you both a huge thank you for our lovely jaunt through Arvada a few weeks ago. I had a great time and really appreciated all the time and effort that must go into organizing it all. Thanks to Traudl for the great sandwiches and munchies.
Thanks again.
