Dear Snow and Ice Team,

Well, we dodged THAT bullet, eh?? We could not have asked for better weather. One week earlier and we would have been wading around in deeper snow. Ulli and Traudl ordered up the perfect pre-event conditions and weekend conditions. Thanks!

I'll second the lovely weather and fantastic company. Thank you so much Traudl and Ulli for creating a fantastic event with excellent food and way too much fun.

Thank you all for the awesome support, friendship and excellent conversation over the weekend. Without it none of us would have achieved our goals. It was fun. Hope to see you all soon.

Traudl and Ulli,

Thanks for putting so much time and effort into organizing the Snow and Ice 100.  The course was very interesting and scenic. The aid stations, as always, were the BEST anywhere. Congratulations to all who participated in this fine event; I feel honored to have been invited.

Dear Team,

I want to express my appreciation for Ulli's and Traudl's efforts in organizing and executing another fantastic walk. Ulli is the superman of walking and Traudl our angel of the aid station. No one could ask for better race directors and friends.

To everyone I thoroughly enjoyed your company, support and conversation, you are all truly a select group of walkers!

Special congratulations to Fran and Gerry for completing your first 100!

I only regret giving in to a low point and not completing the 100 with you. Monday I hobbled up Waterton Canyon again up past the dam to the Colorado Trail head #1776. More out of penance and to prove to myself that I won't die from too many blisters.

Congratulations to all, you did it!!!

Happy trails,

Eric

Hi Team,

I had a great time last weekend thanks to the collective efforts of all of us.

Special thanks go to Ulli and Traudl for giving us this opportunity. All the work and extra care you put into everything is obvious. It was inspiring to watch out for each others low spots and help each other through them. The aid stations did wonders for our low moments. Traudl's hot soup, potatoes, hot drinks, sandwiches, as well as all the other ultra buffet staples kept us well fed. Reminding us to keep eating and take another sandwich kept our energy levels high enough to deal with the cold. Ulli's ability, at the last minute, to map out new trails that we could navigate, because of the weather, was impressive. We were blessed with great weather, compared to what was supposed to happen and what was happening around us. I look forward to our next get together. I really enjoyed this one.

Thanks to everyone,

Debbie

Hi Ulli and Traudl,

Thank you again for organizing such a fun event. I appreciate all the work you both do to put on such fine events. Traudl had great aid stations with excellent food. Ulli chose a great course and his executive decisions on course changes worked well. As in the 50 miler last year, it was great talking with Ulli during the event.

It was nice seeing Terri, James, Gerry, Jennifer, Tim, Ulli and Traudl again and a pleasure meeting Fran, Debbie and Eric. Congratulations to Gerry and Fran on their first 100. I think we made a great team.

Thanks again,

Bill
