Aid Stations
Traudl Kamm - very experienced mountain climber; more than 26 years experience as crew, volunteer, organizer in about 150 ultras
Traudl will provide first class aid stations for participants and organization. As her transport capacity is limited, we ask crews to bring their own food/drinks.
Remote Aid Stations
Carl Edwards - ultrarunner; very experienced mountain climber - familiar with most of the course
Weather permitting, Carl will provide significant assistance to the team by driving on (very) bad 4 wheel drive roads to several places on the course. Too much water at river crossings, mud slides, snow etc. may limit his activities. Don't count on it - we just try to deliver more than we promise!
Guide
Ulrich Kamm - setting a new world best for walking as a group non-stop when guiding an international team in 1998 for 67 hours over 200 miles.
As I am really familiar with the area, I am able to make relevant decisions in case of emergencies, necessary course changes, etc.
Assistant Guide
Tim Erickson - ultrarunner; very experienced mountain climber - familiar with most of the course
Tim will assist with leading the group for 65 miles, from Loveland Pass to the finish line. He will take over if Ulli drops out (huuuh, what a frightening thought for me!)
