The event will happen in all weathers!

Bad Weather:

Lightning, rain, hail and/or snowfall over many, many hours, as well as wind with more than 60 miles per hour.

We may use more 4WD roads and not so many open ridges. The course may be shortened to about 100 miles.

Really Bad Weather:

More than 1 foot of snow on "our" mountains at race start, torrential floods, etc.

We will do several loops starting and ending at the event headquarter in Georgetown. The course may be shortened to 50-80 miles.

Please have a look at 2 maps showing these loops.

These alternatives will be planned as good as this is possible in advance.

If you are mentally and physically really tough you will have fun - whatever the weather will be!
