Peak to Peak 125 - Participants

The 50K in Golden was a wonderful celebration. You always make these events so unique and enjoyable. With all the delicious food stops it felt like a cafe to cafe walk. Where else could you have salmons with capers on baguette at an "aid" station. Thank you for generously treating all the meals at bagels, Woody's and Starbucks. And of course, the route for the 50K was quite fun while offering a little challenge.

Traudl, thank you for supporting us. As I always say, you are our angel of aid. I'm glad we could walk together a little this time.

As usual, Ulli and Traudl's celebration hike was fun way to spend the day touring the foothills. We started with nice strong coffee and hearty breakfast food inside a coffee shop, while we answered trivia questions relating to things we may know about each other. We were rewarded for correct answers with edible prizes like gourmet chocolates or Cliff bars. We had a sit down lunch of pizza and beer for some of us, then we proceeded to climb a mountain. That would be the only time we had rain all day. It gave us just enough of a reason to stop and get out rain gear. It really gave us a chance to stop and digest the pizza. Later we would have salmon and capers on French baguette and cheese sandwiches and other treats. Then we climbed another mountain. The day went quickly. We had nice weather and a nice group of friends. Thanks again to Ulli and Traudl for providing this opportunity for us.
