Thanks again Ulli for
putting together the Cafe-2-Cafe 40 last weekend. I became quite stiff
afterward but have recovered for the most part now. I was glad to have the
opportunity to walk with you and get a feel for the type of pace you do. I
enjoyed the day and the company.
The course is thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the amazing amount of
bike and foot trail that has been developed in the North Denver area and I was
glad to have a tour of it. I can't offer much in the way of criticism since I
don't know the area well. If I were to be laying it out, I would probably
utilize every bit of dirt trail in the northern lolly pop loop that I could and
use the full length of the Big Dry Creek trail, even if it meant having to do an
out and back on it. That is just because I am such a wimp and the concrete
was difficult for me.
Hope to join you again sometime. I'll be in touch regarding joining you
for at least part of the Cafe to Cafe 150 in May.
